Constantina
It is a quality tourist destination in the heart of the Sierra, for its heritage, surroundings and gastronomy.
The town’s history dates back to the archaeological remains found in caves that show evidence of occupation in the Chalcolithic period.
During the Islamic period, the city began to take shape as a compact population centre.
In Constantina there are many monuments that bear witness to the traces that history has left in the town.
Huéznar waterfall
The natural monument, located about 2 km downstream from San Nicolás del Puerto, has a series of small waterfalls and pools surrounded by abundant riverside vegetation.
A natural enclave brought to life by the river Huesna, which flows through lush vegetation, marvelling at the waterfalls and baths that the river recreates for our delight.
HOW TO REACH
Cerro del Hierro
El Cerro del Hierro is a village, a hill and a natural monument located in the north of the province of Seville, at 689 metres above sea level and about 5 km south of San Nicolás del Puerto on the road to Constantina and within the Sierra Norte de Sevilla natural park.
To discover the singularities of this natural monument, there is nothing better than following the Cerro del Hierro path, a route of barely two kilometres that takes you into the galleries and tunnels excavated in its rocks.
HOW TO REACH
